Location close to Liege center.
Restaurant was limited or Campanile, due to renovations staff were under pressure but coped well.
staff were very helpfull spoke excellent english happy to help
location area not very good security lights came on very late and round the back of hotel very drk
its more like a motel than a hotel. If your main objective is find a cheap, clean place to lay your head near Liege, this is the place. PS:have a car cause Im not sure buses go by.
The bed is comfortable but way too narrow
This was the worst 'hotel' we stayed at on our holidays, marginally better than camping. The accommodation is in need of updating and renovating, the bathroom we were allocated was particularly poor. I would not recommend this 'hotel' and would be careful not to use Campanile again in the future.
Friendly personel, absolutely. Close to the highway to continue my journey.
Rooms are old, but clean. The room was very cold when I came in. Heating system was there, but took a while before it was warm enough to take my jacket off. And the front window was close to the gallery, so everybody could could watch into the room. The ambience was ok, but if other hotels are not overbooked, I will not come here again.
The staff were excellent with speaking different languages and being very helpful. Food was good
Some rooms are still used by smokers and if you get one as a non smoker it is not a pleasant experience
The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. I had a particularly delightful experience when because of a change in my itinerary, I had thought an extention of my stay with the hotel was an absolute necessity. Helpfully the staff at the reception gave a better solution.
Costs some €11 one way to the city centre by taxi. The hotel may not meet the budget needs of the budget tourist in that wise. A shuttle bus to the Train station would prove a good solution.
it was a convenient stopping off venue on our journey. Having stayed in a Campanile in Belgium before, we were looking forward to it. It turned out to be a disappointment - food overpriced for quality and selection.
Staff were very welcoming and went to a great deal of trouble to provide top quality service
The hotel was being upgraded. The old bed was not entirely comfortable.
The food at the restaurant wasn't bad, but expensive. Our meal cost the same as the room.
There is a reason they only show a picture of the bed (which isn't quite accurate), because the room isn't that great.
easy to find, easy parking, tea and coffee in the room, heater in the bathroom
they should run a campain for noisy people who yell in the middle of the night... just out of respect of people who sleeps and need to get up early, force respect of other customers... in england they do require no noise after 22pm, they should do that in belgium
easy to fine-very basic-older-helpful staff-no frills
The very good behavior of the staff and their flexibility.
Very convenient for motorway access en route to & from channel ports. Excellent restaurant serving very tasty food.
Not an atmospheric hotel or location - just a bed & meal for the night before moving on.
Price and location were great and the free wifi was very useful.
The hotel had no record of my booking when I arrived, despite me booking through this website 11 months in advance. However the staff were able to find an alternative room in the hotel for us.
